What are Inactive Contacts?
Inactive contacts are people who may have an incorrect email address or have closed their email account and so have "hard bounced" to one of your emails. These inactive contacts aren’t deleted because it’s still good practice to keep them in your database. These contacts aren’t included in the total number of contacts in your database. e.g. if you have 1100 contacts and 100 of them are inactive, your total count (for billing wise), will be 1000.
